Two injured in dirt bike accident

CLEVELAND — Two people were injured in a dirt bike accident late Saturday night.

Medical helicopters were called in to transport a 20-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man, according to emergency scanner traffic.


One was taken from the crash site to Novant Health Rowan Medical Center and the other to the VA Medical Center for flights out.

The injured man suffered a head injury and part of his left ear was missing.

The helicopters arrived to transport both just after midnight.
