With warmer weather returning, the Salisbury Farmers Market vendors have increased the number of fresh vegetables, plant materials and other items at the market. The market relocated to the corner of South Jackson and West Fisher streets in downtown Salisbury near the Rowan Public Library earlier this spring.
Freshly picked, locally grown strawberries are now at their peak with two or three more weeks of production. Salisbury Farmers Market Manager Harry Agner has this market update for local shoppers:
