The Corriher-Lipe Middle School Battle of the Books team won first place for the Rowan-Salisbury School System. The team went on to place third in the regional competition held April 22 at the Statesville Civic Center.

“This group did very well in the elementary BOB last school year. They worked very hard and competed strongly at both the district and regional levels. We celebrated our hard work by going to Sweet Frog for dessert,” said Christine Jalynski, media coordinator.
