SALISBURY — A local dog trainer will speak Saturday at the Charlotte Pet Expo.

Glenn Sherrill, owner of Train Play Live Dog Training, will make three presentations at the expo, which attracts more the 10,000 people and 3,000 dogs.

Sherrill founded Train Play Live Dog Training in August 2010 and invented the No Pain No Pull training collar. He studied under nationally known dog trainer Ty Brown of DogBehaviorOnline.com and Martin Deeley, who is affiliated with “The Dog Whisperer” Cesar Millan.

Sherrill teaches group classes at Tractor Supply Company and Lazy 5 Vet, as well as private lessons to address difficult dog behavioral issues from aggression to extreme fear. He has trained three service dogs for local residents.
