Landis Police seeking sponsors for charity golf tournament

The Landis Police Department is hosting its first fundraising event to help raise money for its police foundation, an independent charitable program started to fund needs in the community.

This year’s proceeds will go to the local community. In years past the department has raised money for various causes, but saw little of it benefiting local residents. The Landis Police Foundation, which will be administered by the police department, was established to ensure local money raised stays local.

Organizers are looking for sponsors for this year’s tournament June 17 at Irish Creek Country Club, 1196 Fairway Drive, Kannapolis. There are multiple sponsorship options including presentation, platinum, gold, silver and bronze. The presentation sponsor is $6,000 that includes company logo on all tournament literature, a special banner at the registration table and two teams or eight-player spots. The platinum sponsor is $2,500 that includes the name on all literature, a banner displayed, name displayed on the sponsor card of all golf carts, a tee or green signage as well as one team or four-player spots. The gold sponsor is $1,000 and includes a banner, company name listed on all sponsor cards for all golf carts, a tee or green signage, as well as one team or four-player spots. The silver sponsor is $500 and includes the company’s name on all golf carts, a tee or green signage, also one team or four-player spots. The bronze sponsor is $100 and includes a tee or green signage.
