A story in Tuesday’s Post incorrectly stated a state health study showed fish in Yadkin River-fed lakes are more polluted by PCB and state health officials failed to expand warnings against eating the contaminated fish. That study was by a Duke University professor. The state health study showed some fish in area lakes have been found to have PCB contamination.
