ROCKWELL — Police are trying to determine who used an Emanuel Church Road company’s truck for target practice.

Carolina Pipe Cleaning employees reported Monday morning to police someone had shot at a truck door. Police are continuing to investigate, but ask anyone with information to contact them, said Chief Hugh Bost.

Investigators believe someone took a pellet gun and shot at the door of the truck, causing about $1,000 in damages sometime over the weekend. The vehicle was parked at the business. Employees discovered the damage just after 9:30 a.m. Monday.

“We are still working on developing suspects and more information,” Bost said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Rockwell Police Department at 704-279-3420.
