Learn more about Kannapolis city hall

KANNAPOLIS — Citizens interested in learning more about the new city hall and police headquarters project in Kannapolis may attend a drop-in public information session at the Kannapolis Police Department, 314 S. Main St., on Wednesday, May 15, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Members of Kannapolis City Council, city staff and project architects will be on hand to discuss project details, financing and construction schedule. Tours of the current Kannapolis Police Department facilities will be offered throughout the session.


The new building, scheduled for completion in 2015, will be located on a tract of land on Laureate Way facing the David H. Murdock Core Laboratory Building. The architectural firm Creech & Associates has been contracted to design the new facility.
