Carr ~ Stephens

LEXINGTON - Colleen Conner Carr and Shawn Patrick Stephens were united in marriage April 27, 2013, at Beck’s Lutheran Church. Rev. David K. Huddle officiated the 5:30 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the Lexington home of Jerry and Betty Gallimore.

The bride was escorted by her father, Donald J. Conner, and attended by maid of honor Deirdre Webb of Charlotte and maiden of honor Hannah Grace Carr, her daughter.

Phillip Whited of Hubert was best man, and son of the groom Camron Stephens of Jacksonville, N.C., was groomsman.

The bride is the daughter of Rev. David K. and Patricia K. Huddle of Lexington and Donald J. Conner of Salisbury. She is the granddaughter of Mary and the late Wilbert Kuebler of Lexington and Ruth and the late Harvey Conner of Salisbury. A 1987 graduate of West Rowan High School and 1991 graduate of Wake Forest University, Colleen is the Southeast Regional Outreach Manager with The Oliver-Pyatt Centers, South Miami, Fla.

The groom is the grandson of the late James Harvey Stephens of Salisbury and a 1988 graduate of West Rowan High School. He works for Lowe’s Foods, Graham.

Following a honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico, the couple will live in Salisbury.
