A Woodleaf man in jail on $15,000 bond faces multiple charges by the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.

Matthew Bates Perrell, 25, was arrested Saturday and charged with first-degree burglary, larceny, injury to personal property, felony larceny and breaking or entering into motor vehicles.

The Sheriff’s Office said Bates broke into a house in Woodleaf on Saturday, as well as a Nissan Pathfinder and Honda Civic. He is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
