Competitors turn out for Buck Hurley Triathlon

SALISBURY — Despite chilly temperatures, the Buck Hurley Triathlon attracted close to 150 competitors Sunday.

Friends and family cheered as runners sprinted across the finish line after swimming in the J.F. Hurley YMCA pool and biking around Salisbury.

The fourth annual event featured a sprint triathlon, team relay and events for kids ages four to 11. Proceeds will go to support YMCA families in need.
