• The Rev. Dr. T. Anthony Spearman, new president of the North Carolina NAACP, will speak at 1 p.m. Monday at New Jerusalem Apostolic Church, 291 Martin Luther King Road (formerly Campbell Road) in Mocksville. A gathering at noon in the town square will be followed by a march and dedication. Sponsored by the Davie Chapter of the NAACP.
