The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man accused of breaking into homes in eastern Rowan.

Bryant Jamar Lane was put on the Sheriff’s Office most wanted list on Tuesday. He was arrested Wednesday and charged with breaking and entering a building, larceny and obtaining property by false pretenses, all felonies.

These charges stem from two residential break-ins near Granite Quarry. They happened in the Stone Road area along the railroad tracks, the Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

He is also charged with assault on a female.

He remained in the Rowan County jail Thursday under a total secured bond of $10,500.

Lane was also wanted by the Salisbury Police Department.
