Barrier ~ Hiatt
FAITH - Lindsey Marie Barrier and Matthew Alan Hiatt were united in marriage March 16, 2013, at Shiloh Reformed Church. The Rev. Wayne Trexler officiated the 3:30 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed in the church Fellowship Hall.
The bride was escorted by her father, Joey Barrier, and attended by Mandy Lingle of Salisbury and Paige Quate of Wake Forest as matrons of honor. Her bridesmaids were Carmen Barrier of Salisbury and Brittany Cavenaugh of Pink Hill, and her junior bridesmaid was Jocelyn Miller of Salisbury. Addison Barrier of Salisbury was flower girl.
Levi Hiatt stood as his fatherÕs best man. Groomsmen were Brian Smith, Andrew Barrier, Kyle Barrier and Jon Lingle, all of Salisbury.
Music was provided by Jan Gore of Landis and soloist Mallory Patterson of Salisbury.
Lindsey is the daughter of Joey and Debbie Barrier of Salisbury and the granddaughter of Clifford and the late Margaret Barrier of Salisbury, Joe and Janice Miller Sr. of Ft. Gaines, Ga., and the late Marjorie Williams. A 2006 graduate of East Rowan High School and 2010 graduate of Mars Hill College, Lindsey is employed by Sterling Jewelers.
Matthew is the son of Joel and Myra Hiatt and the grandson of Joel and Norma Jean Hiatt of Salisbury and Georgia and the late Melvin Lookabill of Salisbury. A 2000 graduate of Sunlight Christian Academy, he is employed by Norfolk Southern.
Following a honeymoon in Duck Key, Fla., the couple are making their home in Salisbury.
