• Rowan County offices will be closed Monday through Wednesday this week and Jan. 1.
For the Christmas holiday, the county landfill will be closed Tuesday only. The processing and recycling centers will be closed Monday through Wednesday. The landfill, processing center and recycling centers also will be closed Jan. 1 for New Year’s Day.
• All city of Kannapolis offices will be closed Monday through Wednesday for the Christmas holiday. Garbage and recycling will not be collected on Christmas Day. Regular service will resume on Wednesday and garbage and recycling collection service will run on a one-day delay for the remainder of the week.
All city of Kannapolis offices will also be closed on Tuesday, Jan.1. There will be no change in regularly scheduled garbage and recycling collection service the week of Dec. 31.
Concord Kannapolis Area Transit (CK Rider) will be closed with no service on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. The Transit Center customer service office will be closed Dec. 24–26 and Jan. 1. Visit the CK Rider website at www.ckrider.com for more information.
• China Grove town offices will be closed Monday through Wednesday for the Christmas holiday and closed on Tuesday, Jan. 1. Garbage and recycling will not be affected.
• Granite Quarry town offices will be closed Monday and Tuesday and Jan 1. Garbage service schedules will not affected by the holidays.
• Landis town offices will be closed Monday through Wednesday for the Christmas holiday and closed on Tuesday, Jan. 1. Garbage and recycling will be collected Monday, Dec. 24 and Monday, Dec. 31.
• Spencer Town Hall will be closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for Christmas. All trash should be placed on the curb Wednesday evening. Pickup will take place Thursday and Friday. The garbage schedule is subject to change, depending on the volume of trash, but pickup will not occur before Thursday morning.
Spencer Town Hall will be closed on Jan. 1. Garbage pickup on Dec. 31 will be normal. No garbage pickup on Jan 1. Garbage pickup will be one day late for Jan. 1 and Jan. 2 routes.
• Salisbury city office buildings, including the Salisbury Customer Service Center and all four recreation centers, will be closed Monday and Tuesday. No garbage or recycling collection on Tuesday. Collection will occur one day behind schedule through Dec. 29.
No limb or leaf collection on Monday and Tuesday.
The city’s Transit Division routes 1, 2 and 3 will operate from 8:45 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday. Transit service will not operate on Tuesday.

Salisbury Rowan Utilities’ administrative offices will be closed on Monday and Tuesday. For water/sewer emergencies after hours or during the holiday, call 704-638-5339.
The Salisbury Community Park will be closed on Tuesday and will otherwise maintain regular hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Cleveland Town Hall will be closed Monday through Wednesday for Christmas and Jan. 1. Garbage pickup will not be affected.
• Faith Town Hall will be closed Monday and Tuesday for Christmas and Jan. 1. Garage pickup will not be affected.
• Rockwell town offices will be closed Monday through Wednesday for Christmas and Jan. 1. Services will not be affected.
• East Spencer town offices will be closed Monday through Wednesday this week and Jan. 1.
