SALISBURY — Rowan Regional Medical Center is now Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.

Novant Health facilities in four states unveiled new names Wednesday and other visual changes as they united under the organization’s brand name of Novant Health.

Formed in 1997, Novant Health has grown from four to 13 acute care facilities, more than 100 outpatient facilities and more than 350 physician practices.

Novant announced the strategic branding plan in February.

“Today we are celebrating with our employees and our community,” Dari Caldwell, president of Novant Health Rowan Medical Center, said at the unveiling.
