SALISBURY — Salisbury Police say three different incidents led them to charge a Salisbury couple with theft, assault and breaking and entering.

Ryan Alexander Adcock, 25, of the 1000 block of Matika Drive, was charged with misdemeanor theft of cable television service, misdemeanor assault on a female and felony breaking and entering.

Amber Lynn Pierontoni, 23, also of the 1000 block of Matika Drive, was charged with misdemeanor theft of cable television service and misdemeanor simple assault.

Officers went to the Matika Drive home in search of Adcock, charged with failure to appear for assault on a female, and an officer noticed an open window with wires leading outside.

The officer followed the wires and discovered they were hooked onto a Time Warner Cable utility pole. A neighbor told police she paid Adcock $20 to illegally obtain cable for her. According to reports, Adcock told another neighbor he could obtain cable for her, but the neighbor refused, saying she was using another cable service provider.

Police responded to a call in the same area from a woman who said Adcock held her while Pierontoni scratched her face during a fight over the theft of prescription drugs.

On the same day, a woman went to the police station to report her home had been broken into while she was away on vacation. She told police Adcock and Pierontoni were in her home cleaning. Investigators believe the couple went back to the home later and took a silver-plated meat dome, which was later found in Pierontoni’s Dodge Caravan.

Adcock remains in the county jail under a $4,000 secured bond. Pierontoni was released under a $1,000 secured bond.
