Bombing did far worse than ‘spoil’ marathon

I must protest the headline on today’s paper “Two bombs spoil Boston Marathon.” It makes the terrorist bombing in Boston sound trivial, when in fact at least three people died and over 130 are injured, many seriously.Compare it to the Charlotte Observer’s “Deadly Boston blasts injure more than 130,” which comes much closer to describing the reality of the situation. The fact the marathon was “spoiled” is far below that of peoples’ lives being changed forever by this cowardly act.

Abortion and media bias

A few years ago former CBS reporter Bernard Goldberg wrote a book titled, “Bias.” It detailed how members of the media controlled news coverage in order to promote a certain political agenda. Some stories were covered one time for a few seconds, while others were pounded day after day, all in order to shape the viewpoint of the American people.

The same thing is happening today. We have heard the endless calls for more gun control legislation as a way to make us “safer,“ on a daily basis. However, there has been very little news coverage of the trial of abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell from Philadelphia. We have been bombarded with news from the trial of Judy Arias who savagely killed and mutilated her boyfriend, but why has the media almost ignored the monstrous house of horrors in Philadelphia? Arias killed one person. Gosnell is accused of killing seven newborn infants by cutting their spines with scissors. He is also accused of killing an adult.

Where are the video clips of politicians crying over these dead children? When will the reporters from CNN interview the leadership of Planned Parenthood in an attempt to stop these types of murders? Where is the media outrage? When referring to gun control, we have been told that we must do something even if it saves just one life. How can we save the most children? Those who say it is the woman’s body need to take a look at what was on display in this doctor’s office.

I will not describe the jars containing fetal body parts that were found. I will, however, ask one question. Why the difference in news coverage?

Built by Christians

It was Christians who built America. Presbyterian preacher Jonas Clark and men of his church fired that first shot that was heard around the world. It was Presbyterian, German-Reformed, Lutheran and Baptist men and women who stood against a terrorist British government that was oppressing us.

Now, we have a pro-communist American government out of control and against the old American ways. We have a pro-socialist news media that pushes right is wrong, and wrong is right. We have a pro-communist ACLU telling us what we can say in public and what not to say — or they will sue.

Load them all up on a one-way ship to China.

It was Christians who built America — not ACLU types or Muslims or Buddhists or Hindus. Dig out some old history books, and see for yourself.

Christians, don’t run and bury your heads in the sand. These ACLU types have one agenda, and that is to change America to a socialist-communist nation. Stand up to these people and put them all on that ship to China.

I was blessed to have been raised in this area and have lived here all my life.

We still pray to the God of Abrhama, Isaac and Jacob — and end our prayers in Jesus’ name.
