MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. - Charlotte Chandler Saunders and Cameron Harris Post were married Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at Christ Episcopal Church at half after five in the afternoon. The Rev. Theodore W. Duvall performed the ceremony. A reception hosted by the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Hammond DuBose, Jr., followed at The Carolina Yacht Club in Charleston.

The bride is daughter of Mrs. Kimberly Weller Detty Saunders DuBose of Salisbury and the late Mr. Robert Lee Saunders. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. Spencer W. Saunders, Sr. and Mrs. Annie Maie Chandler Saunders of Salisbury and the late Dr. and Mrs. Wendell E. Detty of Salisbury. She graduated from St. Mary’s School in Raleigh and was presented at the Junior Charity League’s Western North Carolina Debutante Ball. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The University of Mississippi where she was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Charles Post, Jr. of Sanford and the grandson of the late Mr. Norman Charles Post and Mrs. Mary Thomas Post Loving of Sanford and the late Mr. Dela Fletcher Harris, III and Mrs. Florence Buckner Harris of Sanford. He graduated from Lee Senior High School in Sanford and received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Insurance and Risk Management from The University of Mississippi where he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity.

The bride was escorted by her brothers, Samuel Aaron Saunders and Stephen Holman Saunders of Raleigh. Anna Gibbs Post of Columbia, S.C., sister of the groom, served as Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Gabrielle Palmer Bratton of Raleigh and Allison Vance Somers of Washington, D.C.

The groom’s father served as Best Man. Groomsmen included Norman Charles Post, III, brother of the groom of Sanford; Van Jess Manning of Fort Worth, Tex.; Michael Charles Karol of Dallas, Tex.; Henry Carter Land, IV of Jackson, Wy.; Robert Vanlandingham Poindexter, Jr. of Memphis, Tenn.; Eric John Mangum of Sanford; and Thomas Daniel Evans of Augusta, Ga.

Flower girls were Callie and Jeanie Keller of Wilmington, and ring bearers were Robert and Henry Young of Greensboro. Clarke W. DuBose, Jr. of Colulmbia, S.C., served as Acolyte, and Tanya Freirich of New York, N.Y., was lay reader.

The groomÕs parents hosted a Rehearsal Dinner Oyster Roast Friday evening at Carolina Yacht Club Boat House in Charleston.

The couple honeymooned in Antigua, West Indies, and now reside in Wilmington.
