A Salisbury man walking Thursday in the 100 block of Lloyd Street was shot in the leg, possibly caught in crossfire of a drive-by shooting.

The 20-year-old man said he was walking shortly before 3 p.m. when he saw two vehicles going by, with the people in one arguing with those in the other.

Someone pulled out a handgun and fired. The man was shot in the left calf.

The victim told police he didn’t know anyone in the vehicles.

Authorities ask anyone with information to contact the Salisbury Police Department at 704-638-5333 or Crime Stoppers at 1-866-639-5245.
