Rockwell woman charged with trafficking

Salisbury Police charged a Rockwell woman with drug trafficking following a vehicle stop during an undercover operation.

Stephanie Louise Eudy, 32, of the 3000 block of Lower Stone Church Road, was charged Tuesday with with two counts of trafficking opiates by possession and two counts of trafficking opiates by transporting. Eudy was stopped by members of the police narcotics unit on East Innes Street just before 3 p.m. She sold 45 strips of suboxone to an undercover officer minutes before she was stopped in her car by investigators. She had previously sold 20 strips of suboxone to the undercover officer. Suboxone is typically used to treat opiate or other narcotic dependence. She was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $50,000 bond and since been released.

Eudy is on probation for a Cabarrus County larceny conviction from August 2012, Department of Correction records said. She has been convicted of shoplifting and accessory after the fact of a felony.
