Cattlemen’s Association to learn about forages, more

The Rowan County Cattlemen’s Association will meet Thursday, April 4, at 7 p.m. at the Rowan County Agriculture Center on Old Concord Road in Salisbury.

Dr. Matt Poore, animal science specialist from North Carolina State University, will provide information on methods for effectively using forages.


Steve McGill, a representative from Merial Animal Health Co., will also speak about animal health products including a new generation of long acting de-wormers. Space is limited, so please contact Cooperative Extension at 704-216-8970 by Monday, April 1, to reserve your place or for more information.
