A Rowan County registered sex offender who authorities had been looking for since December for failing to notify officials of an address change was arrested in Forsyth County on Friday.

Jesse Brian Harris, 23, was arrested by Winston-Salem authorities in what appeared to be a traffic stop. Harris and his two brothers, John Willie Harris and Joseph Harris, were staying with their mother in her Cleveland home when she was evicted. All three have been convicted of separate sex offenses. The brothers did not notify officials within the required three-day period of their address change and warrants were issued.

Joseph Harris was arrested immediately and John Harris was arrested a day after officials issued arrest warrants. Officials had been looking for Jesse Harris since early December. Jesse Harris is no longer an inmate in the Forsyth County Detention Center.

John Harris remains in the Rowan County Detention Center since his arrest earlier this month. There is no detention center listing for Joseph Harris in Rowan County.
