Woman poses as reward card customer for food, police say

SALISBURY — A woman posed as a reward card customer to receive $340 in free food or cash from T.G.I. Friday’s at Concord Mills, where she worked, according to authorities.

Bonnie Maureen Hughes of China Grove is charged with obtaining property by false pretense. She posted $2,000 bond and was released from the Rowan County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in court Monday.
