The Durham-based band Bombadil performed a concert March 17 to benefit Rowan Helping Ministries’ New Tomorrows program.

The group, which is currently touring as a trio, played two 45-minute sets.

Catawba College students Olivia Albertson and Allijah Motika opened the show.

Students from Livingstone College’s culinary department prepared a spud bar for the event. They created four unique potatoes with a variety of toppings and tastes.
