Pesticide class for private pesticide applicators

The North Carolina Department of Agriculture will give the Private Pesticide Applicators Exam, which is for those who do not have a Private Pesticide Applicators License or have let their license expire.

The exam is Monday, April 1, beginning at 9 a.m. at the Piedmont Research Station on Sherrills Ford Road in Salisbury.

The N.C. Department of Agriculture Private Applicators license is for growers and producers and not for those wishing to apply pesticides commercially for hire. Those that want to order study materials may go online at to order materials to study for the exam. Contact Cooperative Extension at 704-216-8970 to register or for more information.
