Salisbury police are looking for three men who they said robbed a man walking Thursday near Clay and East Fisher streets.

The 30-year-old victim told investigators he was walking around 4:30 p.m. at South Clay Street when a gray Accura pulled up beside him. The victim crossed the street, but a man got out of the vehicle, grabbed him by the throat and pulled him into a yard in the 500 block of East Fisher, not far from the post office.

The victim was punched in the face and another attacker took $90 and the man’s cell phone. Three male assailants were involved, and all jumped back into the vehicle and drove away.

The victim was taken to Rowan Regional Medical Center where he was treated and released. Witnesses came forward saying they saw the incident. No arrests have been made.
