Denton man charged following traffic stop with failing to register as sex offender

CHINA GROVE — A Denton man was charged with failing to register as a sex offender following a traffic stop. The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office served warrants on David Bradley Horne, 43, of Chapel Hill Church Road, in Davidson County on Tuesday. He was stopped in the 1100 block of U.S. 29, China Grove.

Horne was convicted in 2008 for taking indecent liberties with a child in 2005. He was given probation, which was later revoked. He spent nearly two years in prison.
