Train hits truck

Authorities are clearing the wreckage after a train hit a tractor-trailer near the intersection of Henderson and Long streets behind Sonoco Recycling.

The driver of the truck got out before the collision and is not injured.


The truck driver told a Post reporter he was crossing the tracks when the crossing arms came down and trapped his truck.
