Zellner ~ Glasgow
WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH - Caitlin Elizabeth Zellner and Michael McKay Glasgow were united in marriage Sept. 8, 2012, on the beach at Shell Island Resort. The 5:30 p.m. ceremony was officiated by Brett Carpenter and was followed by a dinner reception.
The bride was escorted by her father and attended by Rachael Leblond as maid of honor. Her bridesmaids included sisters of the groom Anna Glasgow and Mary Jane Jones; sister of the bride Alissa Zellner; and Erin Hankins and Heather Sparks. Lily Knauf served as flower girl.
Brad Hankins stood as the groomÕs best man. Groomsmen were David Bost, Britt Butler, Travis Hickman and Taylor Knauf.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and JoAnne Zellner of Raleigh and the granddaughter of Rodney and the late Alicia Ricker and the late Cornell and Leitha Zellner. A 2002 graduate of Garner Senior High School and 2006 graduate of East Carolina University, Caitlin is a Clinical Research Associate at the Duke Clinical Research Institute in Durham.
The groom is the son of Douglas and Carolyn Glasgow of Salisbury and the grandson of the late Theodore and Mary Jane Nodell and the late Dr. Douglas and Louise Glasgow. A 2001 graduate of Salisbury High School and 2005 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, McKay is a Clinical Trials Associate at Grifols Pharmaceuticals in Durham.
A rehearsal dinner was given by the groomÕs parents Sept. 7 at Banks Channel Pub and Grille, Wrightsville Beach.
The couple are making their home in Cary.
