Historic Salisbury Foundation is looking for volunteers to help with a volunteer work day from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.

Volunteers will help the foundation clean up the lot at the corner of Steele Street and Railroad Avenue.

The work will include pruning, dragging limbs and picking up debris. Gloves and pruning tools would be helpful.

In other news, Historic Salisbury Foundation’s annual meeting will be held at 7 p.m. April 12. The meeting reviews the foundation’s work over the past year, discusses goals for the new year and elects members to the board of trustees. Refreshments will be served.

There is no charge, and prospective members are welcome to attend.

Elsewhere, the nomination deadline for Historic Salisbury Foundation preservation awards is April 12.

The awards reception will be held at 6:30 p.m. May 23. Nomination forms may be found on the HSF website at www.historicsalisbury.org.
