CHARLOTTE (AP) — At least five people have been charged with selling drugs to students at Lake Norman High School.
Iredell County sheriff’s deputies say the drugs include LSD, heroin and other hallucinogenic drugs.
Maj. Darren Campbell said undercover officers bought drugs several times at different houses in the area.
Campbell says a 15-year-old who is expected to turn himself in Wednesday was the main source of LSD and a bath salt known as “molly.”
Twenty-four-year-old Elliott James Ziegler is charged with three counts of trafficking heroin and six other felonies.
His mother, 48-year-old Denise Lynne Mingle is charged with maintaining a dwelling for controlled substance and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Nineteen-year-old Daniel Gilbert Brown and 19-year-old Thomas Jordan Wykoff face felony charges.
It was unclear if they have attorneys.
