CHINA GROVE — The 2013 Rowan County All County Band Concert will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday in the auditorium of Jesse C. Carson High School.
It will feature 96 middle school students and 88 high school students, said Jeff Street, band director at Carson. To be selected for the two bands, students had to perform an audition piece, Street said.
The bands will be led by two guest conductors - Franklin Primus as the middle school clinician and David Albert as the high school clinician.
The students will rehearse together for the performance during a two-day festival today and Saturday, Street said.
Jesse C. Carson High School is located at 290 Kress Venture Drive in China Grove.
