Police ask public to help ID Kmart thieves
Authorities are asking the public to help identify two men who stole more than $6,000 worth of jewelry from Kmart.
Two men wearing hooded sweatshirts walked into the store, located at 815 E. Innes St., on Sunday and within two minutes stole the jewelry from a display case. The men opened the locked display case, placed the jewelry in their pockets and walked out at 11:43 a.m.
Officials are working to obtain information from surveillance video. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Salisbury Police at 704-638-5333 or Crime Stoppers at 704-639-5245.
