Corrections

• School systems would be allowed to start school no earlier than Aug. 1 if a bill in the General Assembly becomes law. The purpose of the bill was stated incorrectly in a Salisbury Post article Monday about a Rowan-Salisbury Board of Education meeting. Also, there will be no early release day on April 26, 2014, which is a Saturday.

• The Cleveland Elementary School “A” honor roll list printed in the Feb. 21 education section was from the first quarter. The correct list for the second quarter will be printed in Thursday’s education section.
