Authorities are trying to determine who robbed a South Main Street convenience store early this morning.

Around 6:50 a.m., police say, a man walked into the Fast Stop at 2210 S. Main, pointed a gun at the clerk and walked out with cash.

It is unclear if he drove away or left on foot.

The robber is described as a white man in his mid-to-late 40s with gray hair. He wore a hoodie and a puffy coat.

This is the second time the store has been robbed in the past month. A Hodge Street man was charged with robbing the Fast Stop on Jan. 29 and the nearby Pit Stop store three days earlier.

Investigators ask anyone with information about the latest robbery to call the Salisbury Police Department at 704-638-5333 or Crime Stoppers at 704-639-5245.
