Bobby Garver, a Landis native who lives on Millbridge Road today, submitted this photograph that was among the belongings of his late aunt, Rose Garver Bostian. It was part of two boxes of family memorabilia. The November 1928 picture shows workers of Linn Mill’s Spinning Room No. 1 in Landis. According to some notations, A.P. Setzer was the overseer. Garver can’t be sure on the identities of any of the people in the photograph. He thinks he recognizes his Uncle Roy in the back row, but he can’t be absolutely sure.
