Salisbury Police charged a woman who with robbing a man at knife point and taking $10 from his wallet.

Stephanie Kay Horne, 40, Salisbury, was charged with felony robbery with a dangerous weapon. The incident occurred at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 700 block of Reeds Lane, Salisbury.

Police received a phone call from Concord resident George Bostick, 51, who said he’d just been robbed. When officers arrived at the Reeds Lane home, Bostick was standing in the middle of the roadway at Plank Road and Partee Street. He showed officers where he’d tossed the knife in a grassy area on the lawn. Horne was found at her home. Police believe she may have been intoxicated. Bostick told police he was at Horne’s residence when she “flipped out.” She broke a glass bowl and told him he would have to pay her $2 for it. She walked into the kitchen picked up a knife and returned to where Bostick was sitting. She demanded money saying, “I know you got $10 and I want it.”

Bostick pulled out his wallet and Horne grabbed $10 from it. He then grabbed the knife and ran outside. Police say Bostick and Horne know each other. Horne was placed in the Rowan County jail under a $10,000 secured bond, where she remains.
