The Historic Preservation Commission for the City of Salisbury, regular session Thursday, Feb. 21, 5:15 p.m., Council Chamber at the City Hall, 217 S. Main St.


• The Carolina Artists meet at 7 p.m., this Thursday, Feb. 21, with a program on paper collage by artist Yvonne Alligood. New members welcome. Hurley room at Rufty-Holmes Senior Center, 1120 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave.

Summer program for students entering grades seven, eight or nine interested in advanced study in science and math, this July at Salisbury High School. Information session on either Thursday, Feb. 21, 7 p.m. or Sunday, Feb. 24, 3 p.m. Both in auditorium at Salisbury High.
