A group of people were standing in front of a West Fisher Street home around 7 p.m. when a dark-colored vehicle with at least four people inside drove by and someone shouted an expletive and fired. The car is believed to have been an Impala or a Malibu, Salisbury Police officials said.

Malik Jones, 18, of Vanderford Street, was shot in the leg, Jaylen Cook, 19, was grazed in the back, and Cornell Cook, 23, was shot in the thigh. It is not clear if Jaylen and Cornell Cook are related. Both live at the West Fisher Street home the men were standing in front of, reports said.

The three men were taken to Rowan Regional Medical Center where they were treated and have since been released. No arrests have been made at this time. The suspects are all black males are believed to be in their late teens to early 20s.
