Jerry and Judy Stogner of Sherrills Ford announce the engagement of their daughter, Kasi Schoonmaker, to Nathan Eagle, son of Bradley and Sharon Eagle of China Grove.

Kasi is the daughter of the late Kenneth John Schoonmaker and granddaughter of Judith and the late Joe Futo of Wurtsboro, N.Y., and the late John and Jacqueline Schoonmaker. A 2008 Magna Cum Laude graduate of N.C. State University, she is studying for her master’s in Business Administration at Wake Forest University and is an e-business systems consultant at Wells Fargo in Charlotte.


Nathan is the grandson of Nancy and the late Franklin Scarborough of China Grove, the late Baxter Eagle, Dorris Holloway of Kannapolis and Carol Jolly of China Grove. He graduated from NCSU in 2008 and received his master’s in Economics from UNC-Charlotte. He is an analyst at Allstate in Charlotte.

The couple will marry Aug. 24 at First Baptist Church in China Grove.
