Emergency medical personnel are responding to a reported accident involving a 15-passenger van in Landis.

The wreck happened at the intersection of Old Beatty Ford Road and U.S. 29, according to emergency radio communications.

It’s unclear how many people are injured or how severe the injuries may be. According to first responders on the scene, most of the passengers in the van don’t need to transported to the hospital.

Responders initially called for all available ambulances and multiple units responded, including two from Cabarrus County. They later cancelled some of those ambulances.
