Spencer to hold public hearing on metal awnings

SPENCER — Spencer aldermen will hold a public hearing about metal awnings when they meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Town Hall.

• Town Manager Larry Smith’s report

• Mayor Jody Everhart and delegate reports

• Public comment

• Proposal to repave parts of Carolina Avenue, Rowan Avenue and Eighth Street

• Black History Month resolution

• Committee reappointment to the Community Appearance Commission

• Property liens

• Landscaping plan for Library Park

Also, tonight at 6, Smith will hold extended office hours for any alderman who wants to stop by and talk about the agenda. Office hours are open to the public.
