Christopher Distin earns Eagle
Christopher Distin, 15, is receiving his Eagle Scout Award today, Feb. 10, 2013, at St. John’s Lutheran Church. Scoutmaster Henry Trexler with Troop 443 is presenting the award.
Christopher has earned 26 merit badges and is a member of Order of the Arrow.
His Eagle project involved designing and constructing a number of wooden dog houses for a local animal rescue facility and raising donations to support the center.
A 10th-grader at Gray Stone Day School, Christopher is the son of Sherman and Michelle Distin of New London.
