WINSTON-SALEM (AP) — A notice filed with the North Carolina Commerce Department says AT&T plans to eliminate 66 jobs at its call center in Greensboro.
The Winston-Salem Journal reported the notice filed Tuesday says the jobs will be cut by the end of March.
AT&T Services Inc. says the jobs of 59 collections representatives and seven office assistants will be affected.
Companies are required to provide the state with 60 days advance notice of job cuts.
AT&T says the job cuts will be handled under the terms of its agreement with the Communications Workers of America.
