CONCORD Authorities have identified the victim in a fatal Monday stabbing.

Desmond Travon Cox, 23, of Heatherwood Court NW, was found dead by officers responding to a reported assault shortly after 4 p.m. Monday, Concord Police said.

According to a news release, officers and emergency medical responders found Cox with at least one stab wound when they responded to the call on Heatherwood Court.
