Fire closes Walmart
SALISBURY — A small fire in the men’s department closed Walmart on South Arlington Street Sunday night.
Fire officials said the flame was quickly put out by store employees. The cause of the fire was not immediately available.
The store was closed as employees used fans to clear any remaining smoke from the building.
A handful of store employees and two Salisbury Police patrol cars stood outside the building Sunday night.
It was not known when the building will reopen.
