Jobs seminar for veterans Feb. 1

There will be a free, daylong seminar offered Feb. 1 at the N.C. Research Campus location of Rowan-Cabarrus Community College focusing on veterans and jobs.

The event is free, but limited to 60 people. It begins with a breakfast from 8-9 a.m., and includes programs until 4:30 p.m.


Tips and advice will be offered on starting a business, going back to school, compiling a civilian-ready resume, translating military skills. Veterans can also sign up for one-on-one mentoring.
