Briar David Connor was born Nov. 29, 2012, in Salisbury weighing 7 lbs., 10 oz., and 19 in. long. Briar is the son of Jeremy David and Amanda Meacham Connor of Salisbury. He has a sister, Brooke Christine, 4.

His grandparents are David and Christine Connor of Salisbury and Tony Meacham of Wilmington and Debbie Meacham of Lexington. Great-grandparents are Ronnie and Pansy Sells, James Overman and Jane Parks, all of Salisbury. He is the great-great-grandson of Hazel Sells.
