Woman killed in crash after Greensboro police chase

GREENSBORO (AP) — A woman has died after a crash that followed a chase with Greensboro police.

Authorities say an officer saw a Cadillac driving slowly on Interstate 40 just before 5 p.m. Thursday. The officer said the driver then went over the speed limit but wouldn’t pull over and accelerated on an off-ramp to the interstate.

The driver went through three red lights and lost control going around a curve in the road before rolling several times.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name hasn’t been released, but Chief Ken Miller says she had a revoked driver’s license in her possession. Police are still investigating the crash, and Chief Ken Miller says the driver’s license
